Machine polishing
Refinement polishing for minor imperfections, through to multi-stage paint correction for heavier defects. I assess the paint and explain what can be improved before you choose.
Machine polishing covers different levels of work. The right option depends on the condition of the paint and the result you want. All polishing takes place in my unit in Llay, under inspection lights.

Refinement polishing
A safe wash and decontamination, followed by a single-stage machine polish to address minor imperfections and light swirls and bring back gloss. I will explain which marks it can improve before I start.
Included work
- Full safe wash
- Clay and chemical decontamination
- Single-stage machine polish
- All trim and glass finished
Multi-stage paint correction
For heavier swirls and defects, cutting and refining stages work on the finish in more depth. I check paint depth as I go and explain which marks can be removed safely and which may remain.
What can be improved?
Polishing has limits. Deep scratches and damage through the clear coat may remain. Stone chips can be touched up on request. I will show you the paint under the lights and discuss the scope before you decide.
Fantastic after having bad job done by a local body shop. Mark corrected as much as he could and being a classic car my pride and joy he’s made an amazing job of it.David Moore, Google
Adding a ceramic coating
I recommend combining a ceramic coating with a machine polish option to prepare a fresh, contaminant-free surface for the coating to bond to. See the ceramic coating options.
A quote for your car
The condition of the paint and the level of polishing determine the work. Send photos and I will recommend an option, then confirm the scope when I inspect the car. The quote I give is the quote you pay.
